A Champ-ion Product

Monday 14th June 2010

Teething toys are pretty popular in our house at the moment with a six month old baby who will put anything in her mouth she can possibly get her hands on, there is a requirement to have one to hand at all times, they are in the kitchen, lounge, office, changing bag, the car and my handbag so we have all situations covered.

I was recently contacted by an online company called Hello Baby www.hellobabydirect.co.uk and was asked if I would be happy to review one of their products for my blog site www.socialmediamum.co.uk

After reading my blogs Trevor had noted that I had recently had a baby in December and suggested I reviewed a teething toy.

After agreeing to the review the parcel arrived within a couple of days, I excitedly accepted it from the postman and opened it up to see what it was. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this was not your average teething ring, rattle or toy but a beautiful French ‘soft toy to nibble’ known as a Chan Pie Gnon. I had never seen anything like this before and immediately gave it to my daughter. Of course she put it straight to her mouth and began to chew, nibble and suck on this soft rubber toy.

The great thing about this toy is that it is so soft it’s easy for a baby to hold and when it’s gently squeezed it makes a noise which immediately creates amusement. The toy is a bright white appearance which stands out over the rest and now my daughter actually recognises it when she sees it and if she drops it she can see where it has gone as it stands out very well. The box which it came in was full of useful information about the toy relating to the five senses taste, hearing, touch, smell and sight.

Having looked on the www.hellobabydirect.co.uk website I see that there are three models in the range for baby to collect, each in a subtly different and engaging shape. The toys are made from natural rubber and painted with food grade paints so you can be sure that baby can chew it in complete safety.

I would recommend anyone to try this product, even my husband thinks it’s great and it would certainly make a nice different and very welcome gift.

I have had lots of positive contact with Trevor who runs the online shop www.hellobabydirect.co.uk and the product arrived very quickly after initial contact so I am sure that customer service will be as good as they promise.

I hope that people have confidence to try the product and find it just as good as we have.
